Olds, Alberta – March 11, 2025
The 2nd Annual Mountain View and Neighbours Women in Business Awards, presented by Community Futures Alberta, was a special afternoon celebrating exceptional women who inspire through their achievements, innovation, and leadership. This year’s theme, “Shine Bright and Lead Boldly,” highlighted women who light the way for others and lead with courage and purpose. Aligned with International Women’s Day, the event serves as a powerful reminder of the importance of recognizing and uplifting women in leadership roles across various industries.
One of the most celebrated honourees was Stacey Stilling, CAO of Mountain View Seniors’ Housing (MVSH). Stacey was nominated in two categories: Woman in Business (Non-Profit) and the prestigious Woman of Influence award. At the sold-out luncheon held at the Pomeroy Inn & Suites, Stacey was recognized for her leadership, advocacy, and service, receiving the Woman of Influence award.

A Visionary Leader in the Non-Profit Sector
Stacey’s nomination came from both the MVSH Board of Directors and her peers, a testament to her widespread impact and leadership. She is described as a “powerhouse of vision, strategy, and compassion, leading a team of over 160 professionals to provide care and housing to more than 450 Albertans.” Her colleagues further praise her as “a change-maker, a trailblazer, and an architect of progress redefining excellence in a heavily regulated and complex industry.”
Through her leadership, MVSH has continued to grow and evolve, ensuring that seniors in Mountain View County receive the highest quality of service and support. Her ability to navigate challenges, mentor future leaders, and foster a culture of excellence has solidified her reputation as a true woman of influence.
The Power of Showing Up
Reflecting on the award, Stacey shared how deeply meaningful it was to be recognized not just for what she does, but how she does it. She emphasized her passion for leadership, mentorship, and the importance of being intentional in how we “show up” for ourselves and others. Stacey expressed her gratitude to those who have been part of her journey, saying, “To all the amazing women I have had the privilege to work with, learn from, and grow alongside—thank you for allowing me to be part of your journey, whether for a moment or a lifetime.”
“This award may have my name on it, but it’s for all of you who continue to show up and make a difference in the lives of others,” she said. She also dedicated the honour to her daughter, Danielle, as a reminder that influence matters.
