Who is the MVSH Foundation?
Established in 2002, the Mountain View Seniors’ Housing Foundation operates as a registered charity to raise funds to enhance the lives of seniors living within Mountain View Seniors' Housing lodges. The Foundation is comprised of a volunteer Board of Directors with individuals from our local community.
How are funds raised?
The Foundation employs various fundraising strategies through community events, donation drives, grant applications, partnerships with local businesses, and the Annual Charity Golf Classic. Through these fundraising strategies, the Foundation endeavors to secure the necessary funds to procure specialized equipment, and essentials resources for the lodges, prioritizing items such as spa tubs, furniture, programs and technology.
What is purchased with funds raised?
The Foundation’s efforts are directed towards enhancing the quality of life for seniors by ensuring they have access to amenities and facilities that promote comfort, well-being, and engagement.
When you donate to Mountain View Seniors’ Housing Foundation, we have the ability to enhance the lives of our residents by funding activities, purchasing specialized furniture and equipment that is needed to create a safe and homelike environment.
