Community Housing

Although “Seniors’ Housing” is in our name, our Community Housing program supports Albertans of all ages who need safe, affordable housing. Everyone needs a little help at some point, and we’re proud to offer a welcoming, supportive option for families (with dependents) working to get back on their feet. Our team is here to guide you through the process with care, respect, and understanding, because stable housing is the foundation for a stronger future.

What Is Community Housing?

Community Housing is part of a provincially subsidized housing system funded by the Government of Alberta to ensure Albertans have safe, affordable housing that meets their needs. This program supports income-based families with dependents by offering rental homes at a reduced cost. Mountain View Seniors’ Housing manages all Community Housing units within Mountain View County on behalf of the Alberta Government.
