Since its incorporation in 1960, Mountain View Seniors’ Housing (MVSH) has been dedicated to enhancing the quality of life for seniors and individuals within Mountain View County. Through compassionate services, engaging programs, and a commitment to excellence, MVSH continues to create vibrant and supportive communities where EVERYONE feels at home.
Seniors’ Lodges
MVSH operates 4 lodges in the communities of Carstairs, Sundre, Olds and Didsbury. Each of our lodges provides comfort, security and a home-like, non-denominational atmosphere.
Seniors’ Self-Contained Apartments
MVSH operates self-contained, one-bedroom apartments in Sundre, Olds, Didsbury, Carstairs & Cremona for low to moderate income seniors.
Lifestyle Suites
MVSH is home to 18 beautifully designed Lifestyle suites. Lifestyle Suites are attached to the lodge allowing for access to 24/7 security and safety, meals, activities and more.
Community Housing
Mountain View Seniors’ Housing operates 7 homes for lower income families in the communities of Olds, Didsbury, Carstairs. Rent is based on 30% of annual gross income.
Rent Assistance Benefit
MVSH administers a rent assistance benefit on behalf of the Government of Alberta for qualified individuals and families residing in Carstairs, Cremona, Didsbury, Mountain View Country, Olds and Sundre.
