A preliminary application form must be completed by the applicant.  An interview will be arranged with the Lodge Manager.  Applications are priority rated based on applicant need.  A Home Care health assessment must also be completed for Designated Assisted Living applicants.  A medical will be required prior to admission.  All lodges have a waiting list.

Monthly Costs

Rent is calculated based on 30% of the previous year’s income. A service package is charged for all services offered in the lodge. The service package includes all meals, snacks, personal care, medication assistance, recreation/social activities, housekeeping, linen service, and cable TV. A $12.00 per month parking fee (vehicle or scooter) is charged if required. A monthly fee of $42 is charged if personal laundry is done by the Lodge. There is no cost for personal laundry if done by the resident or family. An additional fee is charged for a second person in the suite and a larger suite where applicable. The resident is responsible for their monthly telephone costs, personal products and the resident portion of medication costs.

Government regulation requires that each senior is left with at least $265 a month in disposable income, after paying their basic lodge rate.

Suites

Residents furnish their suites with their own personal furnishings. Window coverings are provided. Residents may bring a bar fridge and microwave if space permits. Please check regarding appliance dimensions before admission.
