Rent Assistance Benefit

The Government of Alberta has redesigned its Rent Supplement Program to meet the needs of more Albertans, including working families and those most in need. Starting July 1st, MVSH will be accepting applications for the Rent Assistance Benefit (RAB). Formerly, the Direct to Tenant Rent Supplement, this long-term benefit will continue to subsidize low-income Albertans.

Individuals and families residing within Mountain View County (Carstairs, Cremona, Didsbury, Olds and Sundre) are welcome to apply.

Application Process for Rent Assistance Benefit:

In order to be processed, all applications must be completed in full, must be signed by a Commissioner for Oaths, and must include all supporting documents of current monthly income. Incomplete applications will not be processed and will be returned to the applicant. Please allow 2 weeks to process your application.
