Our Lodges

We operate lodges in the communities of Carstairs, Sundre, Olds and Didsbury.

Mountain View Seniors’ Housing (MVSH) operates 4 lodges in the communities of Carstairs, Sundre, Olds and Didsbury. Each of our lodges provides comfort, security and a home-like, non-denominational atmosphere.

Our greatest asset is our caring, committed and dedicated staff, all of whom strive to deliver the highest level of service and support.

Resident suites are different sizes in each of our buildings, and each building has different amenities. Each of our lodges can accommodate both singles and couples.

Care & Assistance

Assistance with activities of daily living is handled by Health Care Aide’s at all four lodges. The Health Care Aide’s at Chinook Winds Lodge are employed by Alberta Health Services. At Aspen Ridge Lodge and Sundre Seniors’ Supportive Living Facility, there are also Licensed Practical Nurses and Registered Nurses who assist with the care of the clients. At Mount View Lodge and Chinook Winds Lodge, care is provided on a scheduled basis (4 times/day) with no Health Care Aide’s on site during the night. At Aspen Ridge Lodge and Sundre Seniors’ Supportive Living Facility, care is provided 24/7, for residents in the Designated Assisted Living (DAL) Program.

Social & Recreation Programs

Each of our Lodges provides a full social and recreation program with residents’ interests in mind.
