Costs
Mountain View Seniors’ Housing operates 23 homes for lower income families in the communities of Sundre, Olds, Didsbury, Carstairs & Crossfield. Rent is based on 30% of total income (line 150 of the Canada Revenue Agency Notice of Assessment). The tenant is responsible for electricity, cable t.v. & telephone. A security deposit is required. A refrigerator & stove are provided.

Application Process for Family/Community Housing and
Direct to Tenant Rent Subsidization (DRS) Program
The same application form for both Community Housing and Direct to Tenant Rent Supplement (DRS) Program needs to be completed to initiate the process. If you are applying for DRS and wish to also be placed on the Community Housing Waitlist, please indicate this on your application form.
In order to be processed, all applications must be completed in full, be signed by a Commissioner for Oaths, and have the most recent tax year's Notice of Assessment enclosed. Incomplete applications will not be processed.
